Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom

Climb aboard an ornate carrousel horse and gallop along with Cinderella and her Prince Charming through a whirling backdrop of color and music—including favorite Disney tunes played on an old-fashioned organ. Built in 1917 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Co., the carrousel first called the Detroit Palace Garden Park home. It was relocated to New Jersey for the Maplewood Olympic Park. Disney Imagineers discovered it and performed an extensive renovation—adding painted scenes from Cinderella and restoring or replacing the horses. Each of the 90 expertly-crafted horses is unique, and it is worth a few minutes just to study them as they merrily make their way around the carrousel. Prince Charming Regal Carrousel is located in Fantasyland in the shadow of Cinderella Castle.
